Imagine…, fried green tomatoes, front porches, screen doors, summer days, & cold drinks. Visualize…, tobacco fields, rain storms, riding a motorcycle to the coast…, hope…, the optimism of youth, & contemplations of life & love. Call it Americana, call it freedom, call it honest…, call it Brother Slade.

Brother Slade is a family of friends. Together they blend their backgrounds of bluegrass, pop, rock, and country. They have, played, sang, written, and recorded together for several years…, but, this time they put a name on it and made a record. “No Relation” is an invitation for everyone. Welcome home.



Marc "Brother Slade" Christian



What is your part in the band?
Vocals & acoustic guitar, I am also the proud father of Brother Slade…; I'm just not sure who the mother is?

Home state:
The Buckeye state…, Oh...Oh…Ohio.

Currently resides:
In denial, but I live south of Nashville, Tennessee…, & north of everywhere else.

Influences:
Tom Petty, Neil Young, the Everly Brothers, the Highway Men…, oh, do you know the muffin man?

Hobbies:
Horse and buggy chaser…, it's like storm chasing, just not as dangerous. I also like movies, hiking, baseball, rodeos, and family time.

What is your part in the band?
I'm really not sure? They just tell me to wear cute little dresses and sing.

The only state of course…, Mississippi!!!

Franklin, Tennessee

Influences:
Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton John (I used to think that was three different people), also, I love Carole King, & Roberta Flack.

Hobbies:

What is your part in the band?
My part is the most important one…, the mandolin. Is anyone gonna' see this? I also provide vocals, which is a good thing.

Is Norway a state? How about Florida?

Nashville, Tennessee

Influences:
George Jones, Charlie Andersen, the Frames, Keith Urban, & Arnold Schwarzenegger. Actually, don’t print that last part…; I do have all his movies though.

Hobbies:
Fishing, football, video games, cabbage soup diet.
