Chasing The Sun
Chasing the Sun by Britt Connors
You got a storm cloud to call your own
It follows you wherever you go
No relief from the pain
No respite from the rain
No matter what the weatherman predicts
Those cloudy days are where you get your kicks
Expect the worst, and it just might come to you
If there's a puddle, you'll find it with your shoe
Your passing showers, they never pass through
And if you don't see that the sky is turning blue
Then shame.... it's such a shame... oh, then shame... on you
(whistling/solo)
So you can wish away all your time
But I won't let you keep wasting mine
You see, life's much too short to be miserable
So, I'll go chasing the sun
While you go chasing the rain
And I’ll keep finding the fun
While you keep seeking the pain
And you can find me...
On the other side of the rainbow
