Outrun The Wolf
It was late October 1689
I went out to the stables to see why the horses were crying
Lamplight revealed a scene I’ll not forget
And It was too late to run when I felt the breath on my neck

Swift was the bite then all was numb
There face to face with the thing I would become, oooh no

I’m centuries old (centuries old) and still in my youth (still in my youth)
Some say we’re myth. I’m living proof
One of the pack but cursed to roam this world alone.
From the moors of Scotland (far away )to the Australian plains(far away)
We all have a story that all start the same
Once the beast has your scent there’s not a thing you can do
You can hide from the moon but you’ll never outrun the wolf

When the moon is full and all can fill her power
You won’t find me seeking whom I may devour
Below these city streets I hide alone
Where I chain myself until the hunger is gone

My bonds are strong (oooooooh) tonight they will break (oooooooh)
Finally this night (oooooh) the dog will have its day.

Yeah, you can hide from the moon but you’ll never outrun the wolf
You can hide from the moon but you’ll never outrun the wolf
