I wrote this in the 1960’s. I sang it at the Isle of White Festival and then in Sweden. Swedish folksinger Fred Åkerström translated it into Swedish and the song became a big hit there and still is. Claire Lynch perfectly blurs the line between folk and bluegrass here. What a songbird!
