Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie: Reinterpreting Black Flag provides a new take on the music of one of the most influential hardcore punk bands in American rock history. This tribute album features performances by former Black Flag members Dez Cadena, Keith Morris and Kira Roessler in addition to special guests Mike Watt, Jimmy Destri, Peter Case, Joe Baiza and The Chapin Sisters. These commanding reinterpretations recall sounds of country, rock and roll and surf rock from the 1950s and 1960s, leaving listeners with exciting new versions of classic Black Flag songs
