Biography
The final installment in Pinecastle’s award winning Bluegrass series, Bluegrass 2001 continued the tradition of gathering the best players in the business performing top-notch bluegrass. Scott Vestal, Jeff Autry, Wayne Benson, John Cowan, Randy Kohrs, and Jim VanCleve are featured. Cowan offers his soaring vocals on the Bill Monroe standard “It’s Might Dark To Travel” for a series first vocal number. The boys also push the boundaries with a bluegrass version of “2001 A Space Odyssey” which has since been featured on commercials for several Comedy Central Specials.
