CPR is a song I wrote for a bluegrass band I was with in the 90's called Code Blue. This instrumental incorporates multiple sections and moods as does the life saving procedure of CPR.
The intro of the song begins with a heroic siren with a slightly funky beat and the signal reaches out to rest of the team that joins in one by one to embark on the mission.
The main section of the song drives through each team member's efforts with smooth hand offs to others while the song brings in moods of excitement, drama and even a little darkness. At the end of the main section, it's all hands on deck with the sharing of efforts that then turns back into the alarming sirens.
As the sirens and alarms clear then moving into the last section of the song, the beat of the heart is coming back steady and strong and the team celebrates a bit as their mission ends successfully.
