You're Always Welcome Here
You're Always Welcome Here
Bill Kelly c 2005
Well you're always welcome here
Come in as you please
And if I aint around
My mother has the keys
My nephew he stops by
Sometimes to cut the lawn
And you know I always got the coffee on

Friends they come and go
And some just quit the band
It's true about what they say
How you can count them on one hand
And I know you feel the same
When I say I hold you dear
And you're always you're always welcome here

Time would be a lonely waiting game
Without someone to share a laugh
Or to listen to me complain

And I never will forget
The time you caught me lying
And you held me to your breast
And when I started crying
You said you should know better
as you brushed away my tears
cause you're always you're always welcome here

A life without a friend is a life in vain
Like a morning without the sun Or flowers without the rain

So you're always welcome here
My mother has the keys
And if I aint around
Don't start cleaning please
Just make yourself at home
I know you know the drill
Forever your old pal Bill
