If you are a serious fan of bluegrass music, the names Terry Baucom, Alan Bibey, Randy Graham and Jimmy Haley tell you all you need to know about this album. They are among an elite group who brought contemporary bluegrass to a state-of-the-art level during the 1980s.

It's always a pleasure to observe a master at work in any field of endeavor. Here you have the finished product of four masters exhibiting their free-wheeling, punchy instrumentation while exploring the full range of the vocal spectrum.

The song menu ranges from an innovative arrangement of "Black-Eyed Susie" to the superbly executed "Feast From The Father's Supply". The trios and quartets are voices in bluegrass at its very best. You don't have to be an expert in bluegrass to enjoy this musical experience, but the more you know about it the more you can appreciate what these guys are doing. Put it on Your Hi-fi and you'll soon find yourself immersed in it. -Lance LeRoy, 1998
