The Tractor Boys

A song written in response to a conversation I have overheard many times around farm yards and cattle marts when farmers get together to compare the horses under the bonnet. “My tractor is better than yours”, “She would tow a ship out of the tide and up the mountain”, “If she’s not red leave her In the shed” this is a phrase preferred by Massey Ferguson owners! /“If she is blue she just won’t do” is a Ford/ New Holland preference etc...
So I sat down to try to incorporate them all into a few verses and in turn measure them all big or small against “ My Little Massey” which is a song I wrote years ago, a fun tongue in cheek song that strikes a chord with the young farmers .
