For centuries, this was the land of indigenous tribes. Then the settlers came… And it was, genocide.
The Wiyot. The Yurok, the Hoopa, the Karuk… and the Tolowa people. How many did survive, when land was valued more than life.

Flash forward ‘til today. So many changes along the way.
Now they say Humboldt’s mostly white, but don’t nobody really want to say why. Still people keep coming and finding this gem. Decide they will stay
