“Just Like You” is my heartfelt message to humanity, soul to soul. We are consciousness, in a body, for a time. While in a body we may seem separate from each other. But this is only an illusion. This song, sung in the first person, tells the story of the human soul becoming self aware. It is the answer to, “Who am I? What am I?” It is the beginning of the hero’s journey. It is the realization that we are not separate, that our “differences” are superficial, and that what binds us is our shared humanity.
