He’s the One

I’ve had many people tell me that they’d always be there, when trials came my way I couldn’t find them anywhere.
But Jesus He would be with me until my journey’s end.
He’s a closer than a brother, He’s my dearest friend.
He’s the one who fills my days with laughter.
He’s the one who brings my life such joy I can’t control.
He’s the one that my heart is longing after.
Oh He’s the one who died to save my soul.

There could never be another who loves me like he does.
He gave his life on Calvary just to prove how much.
He bore the shame and suffering that this world could go free.
But the hardest to understand is why he did it all for me.

Through the years, the pain and tears when it seemed all hope is gone, I could call on Jesus, He never left me alone.
