Maybe the first Christmas Novelty song EVER. We think this because the text is from the 5th century but has these rhythmic syllabic repeats. Gustav Holst harmonised it in the 19th century, but Anthony Dowd gave it a jazz treatment in the 21st. Hit the road, Gustav!
