IN UNCERTAIN TIMES ROMANCE THRIVES
Sydney, Australia, recording artiste, Anne-Lise Larsen addresses the question most of us ask at one point in our lives, “Could you be the one I've been looking for?”, with her latest single available exclusively for airplay professionals at AirPlay Direct, and for purchase at Martian Music.
"Could You Be The One" is the first single from Anne-Lise Larsen's forthcoming studio album Planets Aligned, which will be released in October 2009. A romantic, dreamy adventure, "Could You Be The One" captures the moments of new romance, and the quietly scary realisation, that it could be the real thing.
“I really believe that hope is what keeps us alive and passionate, particularly in these uncertain times. 'Could You Be The One (I've been looking for)?' is a song of hope, the beginnings of love and letting go of negative experiences all wrapped up in a delightful jazzy pop waltz. After all, who doesn't want to dance when you're falling in love?” says Anne-Lise.
The single's B sides consist of two live audience bootleg recordings of "Seize the Day" and "Could You Be The One", recorded at The Basement, Sydney in October 2008. Supporting international performer, Sophie Serafino, Anne-Lise performed a ground breaking acoustic set accompanying her vocals with her cello.
Anne-Lise is keen to address the current economic climate by acting locally with this release. By releasing her single exclusively through Martian Music, www.martianmusic.com.au, she is assuring that the music she has written and recorded in Australia is sold by an Australian company, in turn benefitting other Australian artists and the Aussie music lover. Martian Music is a direct link between the artist and the music lover which also keeps prices significantly lower than other online music outlets. Anyone, anywhere in the world, with a paypal account can buy from Martian Music.
