Dear God
Dear God yeah, I thought it was time that I said hello and introduced myself
It’s nice to meet you after all these years, and now being here ?

Dear God yeah, I’ve got to say this is a very strange but such a beautiful place
It’s difficult to see you when there’s so much darkness on the other side, so much darkness on the other side…

Dear God yeah, I hope I learned all I was supposed to learn
But I don’t mind being back and trying again, is that how it works ?

You see, none of us have really got a clue
Kind of the blind leading the blind you know
A lot of people thinking that they know what to do
But they don’t know what to do…
They think they’ve got a direct line to you
But I don’t think so
And I know that you don’t think so, too… right?

Oh Dear God you know, I’ve got to say what an amazing place it is
Just like the garden of Eden… and maybe not
But it could be if people stop hurting and fighting and killing each other
Yes God, what a waste, you don’t want it that way, right ?
That’s how I feel too
Hey, I suppose it’s up to people to figure it all out… to figure it all out

So Dear God you know, I’m doing the best I can but I know I’m not perfect either

Oh Dear God
So Dear God
Dear God can I try again?
Oh Dear God
Oh Dear God
Oh Dear God
