Sometimes songs are directly from real life sometimes they are something you imagine. In this case it was a mix of both (fantasy and real life). There’s a fellow I have been in love with and I had this foolish idea that I could’ve made a strong enough impact on him that he might remember me....or think of me again someday--or regret not sweeping me away to a remote desert island.
