I Do Believe
I Do Believe

I have looked into those faces
of all my fellow men
And I’ve seen the spark of hope and joy
as we settled this great land
Like me they searched within their hearts and souls
And found a single truth
we have built this land
on dreams for me and you

From across those big blue waters
They’ve traveled hard and long
Some were seeking new beginings
Some were torn from family’s arms
All those tears that have wet this soil
Were shed with sweat and blood
Now together we must nurture
This place America [That we all love]

I do believe
America it shines it’s light so true
I do Believe
Together there is nothing we can’t do
I do believe
The Bells of freedom ring from shore to shore
I do Believe
America’s my home

As I ride across this frontier
I think of all the folks I’ve seen
The cowpunchers and the miners
Folks in factories in the east
The southern boys who struggled
To lift their heads up high
And rebuild the land that they once loved
Black and white now side by side

I do believe
America it shines it’s light so true
I do Believe
Together there is nothing we can’t do
I do believe
The Bells of freedom ring from shore to shore
I do Believe
America’s my home

When the eagle cries it’s victory song
I believe
Soaring high above this land we love
I believe
We can lift our heads and hearts as one
I believe
History will show the good we’ve done
