9. Till I Get Home / Je reviendrai vers toi
I wrote Till I Get Home while on tour through Canada. My band and I have toured with an old 1970s pop up tent trailer we called Richie. Initially bought for $200 to carry our gear, we actually used it to sleep in at festivals. As much as I love travelling and connecting with people through music, I was feeling homesick during this tour. As I was sitting backstage, I started daydreaming about the spiral staircase up to my old, Montreal apartment and suddenly, I had written most of Till I Get Home.
