This song wasn't written specifically for me, but it should've been. When I hear a song, and it feels like it was written about me because of something I went through, I'm immediately connected to that song. The only part in this song that doesn't fit my personal story, is the greyhound bus and the fact that I had three little girls when I decided to leave home. The Last Greyhound is like self-therapy when I sing it. Another reason we call this kind of music "three chords and the truth".
