“When I was asked if I wanted to write a Christmas song it brought up so many feelings of magic, nostalgia, and happiness which really led Christmas Memories to become the song that it is! It honestly took me a while to figure out the lyrics and what message I wanted to convey through the song, but once I thought about all of my Christmas Memories I have growing up with family at my grandparent’s house everything really clicked. Christmas becomes bittersweet over the years since it has a special kind of magic to it when you’re a kid which is what inspired me to write the song. For everyone who listens to Christmas Memories, I want them to feel the warmth that Christmas brings while also remembering the happy times they had growing up around the holidays and all the goodness it brings to your heart.
