AND ANOTHER THING Stonehoney—singer/songwriters Shawn Davis, Phil Hurley (ex-Gigolo Aunts), David Phenicie and Nick Randolph—met in LA before relocating to Austin. For their debut, The Cedar Creek Sessions, Stonehoney set up in Texas’ Cedar Creek Recording, invited a few friends to join in (ex-Wilco drummer Ken Coomer plays on “Feel Like I’m Gonna Die”) and recorded 40+ songs in four days, completely live with no overdubs.
