AND ANOTHER THING Highlights of Jesca Hoop’s formative years include a childhood spent singing traditional folk songs with her Mormon family, followed by criss-crossing the country for years with a bunch of fellow Deadheads. Her 2007 debut, Kismet, was a favorite on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic. Hoop says that Hunting My Dress, her second LP, is “the first time I’ve ever really invested in myself.”
