AND ANOTHER THING Drew Weaver grew up in Southern California, but moved to France and spent nine years there, studying French literature, bartending and forming ’80s seminal surf band The Surf Piranhas. He also cut two albums with The VibraBeams before returning to LA and forming The Alvarados. Weaver’s latest release, Late Night Drinking, Late Night Girls, features members of The Mavericks and My Morning Jacket.
