AND ANOTHER THING Before joining Jefferson Starship in 1979 and leading them to a resurgence, Mickey Thomas was the singer on Elvin Bishop’s 1976 hit “Fooled Around And Fell In Love.” The Bluesmasters were formed by guitarist Tim Tucker and pianist Sean Benjamin to back Thomas, with drummer Aynsley Dunbar, bassist Danny Miranda, organist Ric Ulsky and harmonicist Doug Lynn. Their self-titled debut CD features classic blues covers—including this reprise of “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” 34 years later.<br />
