AND ANOTHER THING The PondHawks formed in 2007 by songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Mario Novelli and Jorie Gracen, who were in a previous band together; they’re joined by Roger Burden (who had also played with Novelli in the past), Michael Gillespie, Gary Diamond and John Rivera on The PondHawks Have Landed, their debut album. Gracen, meanwhile, is the author of I Saw Her Standing There, a Paul McCartney bio published by Billboard Books. This is an album cut; the focus track is “Fire Eyes.”
