AND ANOTHER THING The Toler/Townsend Band’s self-titled debut CD germinated years ago when singer Johnny Townsend and guitarist “Dangerous” Dan Toler were in Gregg Allman’s band together. Townsend was half of Sanford And Townsend (“Smoke From A Distant Fire”) and he’s also written and/or played with Loggins & Messina, Fleetwood Mac and The Allman Brothers Band, among others. Toler has played with almost every legendary Southern rock band out there (The Allman Brothers Band, Great Southern, The Outlaws, The Marshall Tucker Band). <br />
