John Greska - Sweater Aesthetic
"Sweater Aesthetic" is a deeply personal, slow-tempo folk-pop song by John Greska. The sweater we use to protect ourselves from the world can be interpreted in many diferent ways: The false emotions we display so people can’t see the real us; our parents, who we only use until we don’t need them anymore; and perhaps even just a plain old sweater, that protects us from the wind and storm. Inspired by artists like Simon and Garfunkel, this piece tells a story that’s yours and yours alone.

John Greska is a folk-pop artist who sometimes fuses his work with in orchestral and electronic elements. After his first release of the instrumental collection “Day To Day Thoughts”, he has continued to expand his musical view and the ways he creates. One of his more recent songs, “The Big Hill”, has more than 15,000 streams on Spotify. It showcases the folk-pop feel that characterized John’s style and shares a lot of DNA with his new song, “Sweater Aesthetic”. He ultimately loves making music for the enjoyment of others and wants to make sure everyone can relate to the story he tells with each song.
