He died about 4 years, his kids could not agree
Who should own the land and what the price should be
 So they put it up for auction and today it will go down
 And the field is filling is filling up with people from downtown Parcels, and shares, mountain views and corner lots
 I’m the only one who thinks that it’s a crime
 They don’t care about the man who worked this 40 acre plot They’re selling off his farm two acres at a time The old man was a friend of mine I saw him every day
 I’d ask how he was doing, he’d say for 90 I’m okay
