Those familiar with New Orleans know of the second line tradition and the fancy footwork of
those that join in to dance in the street parties. Singer/trumpeter Kermit Ruffins and producer
Irvin Mayfield could not let the Rebirth Brass Band get away with just one track, so they
constructed this interlude around one of Ruffins’ most used phrases, "Let me see that
footwork."
