Biography
The tale of 6 Fingered Man begins in a pub in Bradford, continues in a pub in Bradford, and, one day far in the future, once these twenty-something rockers have set the world alight with their catchy tunes and edgy live performances, will end, undoubtedly, in a pub in Bradford. Basically, they know good music and make good music. The band has a wide variety of influences, making their sound protean and unique, accented by their indie and rock roots. As well as flying the flag for the Bradford rock scene, 6 Fingered Man have headlined in Leeds, Manchester and London. Although presently an unsigned band, theyve developed a large and enthusiastic live following, and received a lot of interest from record labels. In just over a year 6 fingered man have recorded two studio demos and one live CD. Steve Lamacq identified Blind Senses as the stand out track from their Offering E.P. when he aired it on BBC 6 Music. Their recorded material, although addictively ear- pleasing, only showcases a fraction of the bands live impact. Their gigs emanate raw rock quality and inspired talent. The spine-tingling guitar riffs clash and fuse with more pensive, melodic moments, manipulating the mood of the audience with their eclectic yet smooth dynamic. Definately one to watch.
