Drought
This isn't a cut about flashin' money.
It's all about people in the streets bein' hungry.
Gotta put the food on the plate.
So my kids can say yesterday they ate.

Stomachs shrinking up.
Tears runnin' down the cheek.
Some live day to day.
Some live week to week.
Hangin' it up isn't an option.
Stackin' paper for the right reasons
so there's no cautions.
I see clowns flossin'
but their seeds lookin' dirty
Pullin' ahead so my kids don't end up in the kitchen cookin' birdies.
Money ain't everything
but at the same time it is.
Without them green rects
how will u live?

Brick livin'
kids runnin' off of beans and rice.
Poverty's got a stranglehold on the majority
sleepin' next to mice.
Alleyway hotel, lost sailors bed and breakfast.
Strip a man's fortunes,
prides all he's got left.
Pockets inside out
being broke can equal distorted views,
but the outcome ends on what you choose.
Snooze ya lose
whether good or bad.
Life's dealings leave a lotta kids with no dads.
Look at the stats.
Hopelessness is in the hearts of man.
Three strikes is irrelavent
when on skids with no plan.

Some go crazy, desperate measures come into play.
The drought season everybody lookin' for pay.
Livin' on crumbs
pushin' bricks seems wrong,
but when the babies are screamin'
head goes numb.
It might seem dumb
no one's makin' excuses
least of all Venomous T
take this info and use it.
The drought can hit soft or hard
to the ones who get hit the worst,
I give my regards.
