Biography
John is a singer/songwriter who comes from deep musical roots. A native Tennessean, he is former lead singer for Mercy’s Bridge, solo artist, a published songwriter, and has written songs for numerous artists in the Christian, Southern Gospel, Bluegrass and Country Music genre's. His influences include the Stanley Brothers, Keith Urban, Russ Taff, Bill Gaither, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, George Jones, George Strait, Keith Whitley, Vern Gosdin, Dirks Bentley, and Carl Jackson. All of which come across in his writing and style. John is releasing his latest solo album “Journey You’re Taking” with all original songs, and with appearances from some of the most talented Grammy & Award winning musicians, engineers, and friends as part of this project.
