In the early days, village tradesmen, shopkeepers, farmers, women folk and a bunch of local ne’er-do-wells got together on weekends to make music. Not the refined stuff that came over from Europe but their own rough and tumble RAW music which over the centuries and decades became the Rock, Soul, Country, R&B, Blues and music
we know today. This album honors those early sounds and wraps it all up in contemporary Americana Funk from
