Do you believe in love at first sight? "Gotcha’" is a song about meeting someone for the first time and it seems as though you dance in perfect sync. Johnny Jace wrote the lyrics to paint a lyrical picture of the New York City club scene circa 1985. Mark Regula composed the music and produced the track as a club mix to convey the dramatic and superficial behavior of those who were looking for love at the dance clubs. ITP had intentions of producing this track for a ‘Miami Vice’ TV episode; however their lawyer (at the time) had dropped the ball on getting it placed.
