Biography
Produced by: Pete Bordonali, New Line Country
Matt Crowe got his first guitar at age 11, an Epiphone that he still has and plays on stage to this day. Inspired by the late great Marty Robbins he started writing at age 20 about his life, his family, and the day to day life of a working man. “I never played my songs for anyone” says Matt "and shared them only with family and close friends". In July of 2009 he decided to play some of his songs for a close friend. She was very excited and asked what he intended to do with his songs.
“Up to that point I hadn’t considered doing anything with them since they were so personal and contained my innermost feelings and life story”. She urged him to see a gentleman she knew who had a contact in Nashville Tennessee. With the help and support of some very talented people Matt has just completed his first album.
“After ten days in a recording studio in Nashville,TN I have had the amazing experience of seeing my songs, my triumphs, my failures, my joys, and my losses come to life. Now everyone else can experience them too. The good Lord works in mysterious ways, and when he closes one door he opens another. I am standing at the threshold of a door that may take my life into a new direction. I'm ready.”
