Biography

I consider myself a country girl. Born and raised in Eydehavn, a suburban of Arendal, the capitol of southern Norway.
Our house was filled with music. My father Robert played most of the instruments, so my interest for music came natural; I was always singing with my father at home.
It was country music that became my favorite. I found elements from Pop, Rock, Jazz and Folk music.
My first performance was at the age of 10 at an arrangement the Red Cross had in our community.
Later on in my teens, I performed now and then with a local troubadour. His artist name was Knutta.
Athletics was my favorite hobby in my youth, something I took very seriously.
As an adult, I started spending more time on music. After a while I released my first album “Never Again” in 2003, after encouragement from friends and family. Although I did it for the love of music and mostly for myself, it took on a life of its own, grew a fan base and somehow got in the critics hands who gave it great reviews.
I love to travel around, perform, and enjoy people with music and song. I am currently performing in Norway and a few places abroad.
My debut Cd is still popular at local radio stations with positive feedback on You Tube, and these wonderful people that call themselves my fans have been asking me for some time for another Cd.
Now the time is right. From traveling around, I knew the songs I wanted to record.
This is the new Cd “From Nashville With Love”. It was always a dream of mine to record in Nashville, Tennessee and this Cd has made that dream come true.
