Biography
Kenwood Road is a Christian band with a country; southern Gospel sound. With bluegrass influences and a touch of contemporary flare, it is kind of hard to place them in just one genre of music.
The two sisters that make the vocals in the band are Rebekah Dunwoody and Christina Kennedy. Both have sang and played music most of thier lives in thier Family's southern Gospel group called The Murphys, and still do.
Rebekah, the oldest sister is married with 4 children. Her husband Eric Dunwoody is also a part of the band as the drummer.
Christina, is also married and has 3 children. Her husband Lucas Kennedy is also a band member and plays bass, as well as being a minister of the gospel.
Both sisters are songwriters and play various instruments, from piano, drums, bass, guitar, flute, and mandolin.
Raised as preachers daughters, both sisters have always followed after God's heart, and always want to be in HIS will. Keep Kenwood Road in your prayers, that God will continue to lead and guide thier footsteps. Thank you, and God Bless!
