Johnny Jolin
  • Hard To Be Good
Biography
Long before Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert entered the scene, Jolin had earned the moniker “Rockin’ Rollin’ Johnny Jolin” for his screaming guitar solos during the least expected songs such as covers of Garth Brooks “The Dance” and Bob Seger’s “Turn The Page”. Johnny’s epic solos are probably most associated with his unforgettable live version of Chuck Berry’s classic “Johnny B. Goode”.

In 2011, after several years of heavy east coast touring Jolin was signed by Nashville's LWM Records. LWM Records paired Jolin with Nashville producer/guitarist Dave Smith (Lee Greenwood, Mel McDaniel) of the Nashville Song Lab to record "Thank God" written by Nashville writer Andrew Scott Wills. The single was released as his first ever single to Christian Country radio which debuted at #97 and after a 6-month climb peaked at #6 on the Christian Country Top 100. In December of 2011 Jolin released a follow-up single titled "Tell That To God" which quickly climbed the charts later peaking in the Top 30.
