This is a story of the special bonding between two friends who experienced getting in trouble in school then to crazy things they did together as teenagers. As adults having his best friend as best man at his wedding only to later helping him through the breakup of his marriage. after years of being disconnected with his childhood buddy he shows up unexpectedly at his Father's grave-site , "when I looked up You Were There".

Biography;
John Carey began playing guitar and singing at age 10 and started performing country music in honky-tonks at age 15. He later converted to what is now known as classic rock in different bands in the early 70's but later had to stop performing on a regular basis due to a demanding job schedule but never lost his passion for music turning to songwriting and to his original roots of country music. He is currently retired from his occupation giving him the necessary opportunities to write, perform, and promote his material. Life is a song.
