Biography

Jimmy Dormire is a guitarist/singer-songwriter from Hartland,Michigan, a small town just North of the motor city. Growing up in this great musical evironment left Jimmy with a deep passion for playing soulful music. Having played the supporting role for various recording artist's in the Nashville area since 1990, Jimmy has played to millions of people touching them with his signature bluesy inspired guitar sound. Luckily never asked to compromise his style, soulfully drenched in a deep tonal landscape..(Duane Allman,Eric Clapton,Robben Ford,Eric Johnson)etc. 2008 marks a new evolution for Jimmy with his new CD release "PREMONITION". Effortless mastery is the sculpture here...Breathing acoustic and electric guitar textures along with a true deepness of the lyric line..Music that is meant to touch and heal with a holistic message of peace..Jimmy has come full circle to "speak his own truth"...
