Biography

Hailing from a family of musicians and actors – including his cousin, Ben Jones, better known as “Cooter” on the Dukes of Hazzard, and his jazz guitarist father – Hal Stephens has thrived as a singer and songwriter in Nashville for 25 years. Stylistically diverse, he lives largely in the jazz world and his albums are populated by the best players Music City has to offer.

His debut album, Blue Room, featured “Even In Paris”, an original song also recorded by renowned jazz vocalist Monica Ramey. Hal's new album is Dashing Thru, a collection of original holiday tunes likely to be found in the stockings of good boys and girls everywhere!
