The talented singer and songwriter Chad Garrett's favorite artist at a young age was Elvis Presley. He listened for hours on end to Elvis's music. He launched his music career in his teens. In his early 20s he was asked to perform demos of the music of other songwriters to submit to Elvis for his recording. He began writing his own music as well as jointly with other writers.

His ability to sing in the style of Elvis Presley, resulted in Chad being selected to perform eight Elvis songs for the soundtrack of a movie produced by Cannon Films HOT BUBBLEGUM - LEMON POPSICLE 3. At that time Elvis Presley management was not giving permission for the Elvis recorded songs to be used in any forum other than his own, so these eight songs were reproduced with Chad singing the vocals.

In addition to the unequaled legend Elvis Presley, Chad's influences include rock and roll great Roy Orbison and the easygoing, charismatic sound of Dean Martin. As a result of Chad's vocal and writing versatility, he has written many of his own songs and recorded them in a variety of genre including rock, pop, country rock, blues and ballads.
