CASEY PAGE'S ARRANGEMENT OF "LET ALL MORTAL FLESH KEEP SILENCE" EVOKES MYSTERY AND CELEBRATES COMMUNITY ACROSS TIME WITH THOSE WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE US

A haunting rendition of the traditional hymn, "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" interwoven with the ethereal chorus of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." Featuring a choir entirely recorded by the artist, the arrangement evokes a sense of sacred wonder, transporting you to an otherworldly realm. The layered voices symbolize the spirits of ages past, lifting their timeless praise to the great Mystery. This hymn is one of the oldest still sung today, with roots in the early church in Jerusalem. The text tracks the journey of Christ from the glory of the heavenly realms to his humble birth into the world. A timeless classic given new life for the Christmas season.

"This is a song of hope about coming back alive after a difficult season. I wrote it from my own experience of beginning to believe in myself as a songwriter again after years of feeling disconnected from my creativity. The title image comes from a moment seven years ago when I was at a crossroads in life. One day, I saw a bush that was dying, there was one tiny shoot springing up out of its base. The thought immediately came to me, “All of your future is in that tiny, little shoot.” The bush represented the life I had built…it was fully developed, but dying. I needed to let go of all that I knew and allow myself to lean into something completely new." - Casey Page
