Biography
Described by Rick Allen of Vintage Guitar magazine as "scary good", Billy White, Jr. is a Texas born and based guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer.

His second album, "Just Another Sad Ol' Song" is a pure country record. You'll hear plenty of steel, fiddle, mandolin and dobro as well lot's of twangy guitar licks on these tunes. While half are about heartache, tragedy and sadness there are plenty of other emotions too.

From the poignant sentiment of "The Most Important Work" about a woman discovering the true value of motherhood to the irony of "The Future Ain't What It Used to Be", the fatherly guidance of "What Does It Take to be a Cowboy" to the sexiness of Lady Wrangler jeans celebrated in "A Little Hitch" and the twangy, tele instrumental "Brunagulax" there is some real variety here. Oh and the vocals are pretty good too.

But above all, remember folks, this here's a country record!
