Amber Reigns came on the scene fairly recently and have turned heads quickly where ever they play. The band is quickly gaining a following and making the industry pay attention.

There song "Calm Me Down" officially released on their debut album was sought after before the finale version was completed. USA 1st in Jacksonville Florida leased the song for a year using it as the theme song to the Seminar “Reality” across high schools in the USA to bring awareness to teen related problems.

This song also got attention from Elevated TV Productions out of Toronto who will be the bands sponsor and Promoter in the greater Toronto area. Elevated TV Production will be shooting the video to “Calm Me Down” with completion to be set around September 2010.

With all the hype to “Calm Me Down” AR sent it to Giant FM 91.7in Welland Ontario in hopes to get some air play. Peter Morena the stations manager quickly responded with a request for Amber Reigns to come into the station for an interview and to perform the song live on the air. On May 12 2010 Amber Reigns made their Radio premier to over 100,000 listeners and 15,000 on line guest. The station received numerous request after it aired and they responded by telling Amber Reigns to sign up quickly to Socan so you can receive royalties.

This is not the only song the band has that got some notice. On soundclick.com the song ’’You’’ shot right to #1 within 4 days on the Alternative charts. It also was used in a commercial on 97.7 HTZ FM as background music. In 2008 the song got them a nomination to the Niagara Music Awards when the band was known as Artificial Reality.

With popular songs that are catching peoples interest there was high expectation for the CD release and the group did not let us down. Songs like “I Am” caught the attention of there Producer Chris Curry who said it has all 3 elements to a hit song. The write song, sung by the write person with the right production equals a hit. This song was a natural fit for us all he said.

Their music is very diverse, from strong lyrics and great harmonies that Nick McGuigan seems to come up with so naturally. Songs like ’’Something’s Are Better Than the Truth’’ bring you back to a traditional style Rock song while others songs like ‘’Open Up Your Eyes’’ has the feeling of todays in your face power rock tunes.

Amber Reigns is fronted with two very accomplished guitar players, Nick who is also the lead vocalist and Enzo Herrera. The rythem section is compimised of Chris Rowlands on Bass and Joss Humphrey on Drums.

These guys not only like to rock but have a sense for their communityAt all Amber Reign shows including the sold out CD Release show the band incorporates a food drive and fans get a reduced ticket price for doing so. The band is currently setting up a charity where $1.00 from every CD sale will go towards The Amber Alert foundation. The community is who supports you and Amber Reigns feels strongly even at this point in there carrier to give back.
