Biography
Born in the mid-west on the sixth of July (two days late), one of twelve children and the daughter of a Lutheran minister, Vicki was exposed to music from her infancy.

As a young girl, she formed a quartet with her three best friends. Since she was the one who studied piano, she created the harmony for the group. Vicki was actively involved with the choir in both her school and church throughout most of her youth and has fond memories of playing the church organ, when no one was there, of course.

While in high school, Vicki spent her summers performing in community musical productions and was given the opportunity to collaborate with the composers on these projects.

After moving to California, Vicki worked at 20th Century Fox Film Corporation for five years during the filming of many musical productions. She was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to observe all the musical aspects of these films first hand.

As a stay-at-home mom with her first child, Vicki purchased a piano and wrote her first song. She returned to school at a local college and studied piano.

Vicki opened a health club and taught aerobics for ten years with all of the great disco and dance music. During the year she produced her weekly television exercise show, she learned how to write music with the use of MIDI which allowed her computer and synthesizer to communicate with each other. Vicki's first songs were written for friends and family for weddings and other occasions. The last several years her music has been licensed by NBC.

Vicki has produced twenty-eight albums. Each album will take you on a musical voyage and orchestrally paint the landscapes of many different places. These Classical / New Age and Smooth Jazz instrumental compositions are dominated by the piano and contain beautiful strings sections with gentle voices and many other intriguing sounds.

"Music is the universal language and I am proud to be one of the authors." says Vicki DeLor
