This red hot collection boasts 11 new songs recorded and mixed over a sunny weekend at Lanark's studio by producer Quentin Jones using the famed Sanco 500 process.
The ten original songs on "Tweed & the Sugardaddied" have the classic sounds and feel of reccordings from artist like Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash, as does their cover of Bob Dylan's "Lonesome When You Go Go Go". Other standouts include the swing of "Lonelier Than Me," the rockabilly bear of "Real Gone Jerk," and the surf sounds of "Never Gonna Surf (Again)," all written by Tweed himself. Other songs from the CD include long-time set staples, "Release Me" and "The Bottle".
Tweed & the Sugardaddies are based out of central New Jersey, and have been playing the original circuit for ten years. The band is set for a national breakout with their new recording at Lanark Records!
