Melrose, in Hollywood was like Kings Road in London. Full of Mohawks, punks, new Wave peeps and it was tons of fun being a street urchin and going to see bands every night. Late 70s thru the 80s, and this song is saturated in the camp and lifestyle of a fantastic moment...New Wave was just fun as hell. It was like a fire that burned hot and brilliant...then was gone.
