The Pickin’ On Series was born when CMH president David Haerle gathered the best bluegrass instrumentalists he could find and asked them to record a tribute to the Beatles. Over the last fifteen years, the series has gone on to sell almost 1.5 million albums, with both instrumental and full-band tributes to Metallica, Green Day, Modest Mouse, George Strait, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and more, introducing countless fans to the high-energy thrill of a banjo roll.
